Terms and conditions

Every quotation, order and agreement of Carrier2 is subject to our general terms and conditions. This page lists the documents that apply, which version is in force, and where to download each one. Nothing here replaces a signed agreement: where a master agreement has been signed, that agreement and its annexes come first, and these terms apply in addition.

Versie 2.2, versiedatum 22 september 2026, van kracht met ingang van 1 oktober 2026. Contractspartij is Carrier 2 B.V., handelend onder de naam Carrier2.network, KvK 34159550. Deze voorwaarden gelden ook voor de zustervennootschappen Datacenter Hemweg B.V., Datacenter Gyroscoopweg B.V. en Carrier2 Datacenters Amsterdam B.V. (artikel 2.11). De colocatiediensten worden geleverd in de datacenters DC1 tot en met DC4, die worden geëxploiteerd door Qupra Wholesale als operator; Carrier2 blijft uw enige contractspartij.

Master Service Agreement — Data Center Services, version 2.2

Version 2.2, version date 22 September 2026, in force as of 1 October 2026. For customers who contract data center services under a master agreement. Each service is ordered by an Order Form; the SLA and the Data Center Regulations form part of the agreement. The Master Service Agreement is a services agreement, not a lease. It applies equally to the sister companies Datacenter Hemweg B.V., Datacenter Gyroscoopweg B.V. and Carrier2 Datacenters Amsterdam B.V. (clause 2.4).

Wholesale datacenter lease

Carrier2 offers data centre capacity to wholesale customers on a lease basis. The lease is priced on one figure: a rate per kilowatt of Available IT Load per month, at the Tier Level agreed for the data centre concerned. The Available IT Load is the capacity that is reserved and kept available at the delivery point, whether or not it is actually drawn.

The rate per kW covers the leased space, the reservation and availability of the contracted IT Load at the agreed Tier Level, the cooling for that load, the physical security of the data centre and the standard access arrangements. It covers nothing else. Electricity consumption, cross-connects, remote hands, IP transit and bandwidth, additional access cards and installation work are additional services and are charged separately.

Four Tier Levels are defined, corresponding to availability classes 1 to 4 of the EN 50600 series: Tier I (single path, no redundancy), Tier II (single path, redundant components), Tier III (multiple paths, one active, concurrently maintainable) and Tier IV (multiple active paths, fault tolerant). The rate per kW per month for each Tier Level is set out in the price list; the Tier Level that applies to a lease is recorded in the Lease Schedule. A Tier Level describes the design of the installations serving the leased space; it is not a statement that a certification has been issued by a third party.

The availability actually guaranteed for the Available IT Load, and the compensation payable if it is not achieved, are set out in the Service Level Agreement.

These lease terms apply to the wholesale datacenter lease. The Carrier2 General Terms and Conditions 12-2024 continue to apply to the interconnection and IP services described in them.

The euro edition and the US dollar edition of the general terms and conditions are the same text; they differ only in the currency in which amounts are expressed. Which of the two applies follows from the currency of your agreement.

Service Level Agreement

The Service Level Agreement is not a stand-alone document. It is incorporated as an annex to the service plan agreement and forms an integral part of it, and it is supplied together with that agreement. If you need a copy of the SLA that applies to your services, please contact us and we will send you the edition that belongs to your agreement.

Version history of the general terms and conditions

A new version never takes effect on the day it is published. Until a new version enters into force, the previous one continues to apply in full. The version published on this page is always the most recent one. Earlier versions are kept available so that it can always be established which text applied at a given time.
