Closing a site, a hall or a row of racks
Decommissioning is a project in its own right. We take it on end to end: from the first inventory to the empty, clean and handed-over space, with the paperwork that proves what happened to every asset.
What we take care of
- Survey and asset register: what is there, who owns it, what has to be kept.
- Controlled shutdown and disconnection, in a sequence agreed with your teams.
- De-installation of servers, storage, network equipment, racks and containment.
- Cable removal, including copper and fibre recovery.
- Data-bearing media: erasure to recognised standards, or physical destruction where erasure is not possible, with a certificate per asset.
- Transport, storage and, where wanted, resale or recycling of the released equipment.
- Making good and handing the space back in the state your landlord expects.
- One documented file at the end: asset list, erasure certificates, disposal records.

We run four data centers of our own in Amsterdam, DC1 to DC4. That is how we approach your site as well: around the uptime of everything that stays live, the loading dock, the lift, the floor loading and the hours you are allowed to work in the building.
